Coming from the Charlotte metro area, I didn’t expect to fall in love with Durham, but, over the last 20 years, this community has become my family. There are people here who I look up to and others who I’m proud of. I owe it to them to try and make this place better than I found it.

I serve as the immediate past chair of the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce board of directors. As a board member, I am responsible for protecting the existing Durham community as the city's economic development continues to thrive.
