Opening the Pipeline for Black Engineers

I’ve been involved with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) since I was a student at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). During undergrad, I served in leadership roles for my chapter, region and national. In fact, I was the first student from NCCU to serve in a regional capacity. Today, I provide mentorship as a member of the advisory board for NSBE Region 2, overseeing chapters from the University of Maryland, Howard University, North Carolina State University and Virginia Commonwealth University.
