Pushing Early Creative Horizons

As a student at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), I started The Praktis in my dorm room. Back in 2001, I collaborated with my good friend Daryl Wade from the University of Pittsburgh to found The Praktis, a graphic design and web design agency. We pushed the limits of web development to tell stories in a more creative and engaging manner. A few years later, I wanted to make graphic design the core of our business, so we rebranded The Praktis as my current-day creative agency, Kompleks Creative.
